Our free app features recipe discovery, meal planning and grocery shopping, letting users browse 3,500+ meals, save favourites from the web, compare prices, build lists and checkout with their preferred supermarket. Behind the scenes we give FMCG brands realtime insights into how shoppers discover, select and buy their products a view supermarkets can''t provide. With 20 people across New Zealand and Sydney, we''re scaling fast and need great people to grow our growth engine.About the RoleAs our CreatorinResidence and Content Marketing Manager you will build Appetise into a contentmarketing powerhouse that millions can''t scroll past. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will define strategy, own endtoend execution and amplify thumbstopper content that drives app downloads, builds brand, and proves that creativity beats budget.Key ResponsibilitiesShape the Content Strategy (30%) work with the Head of Marketing to define the organic strategy across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts and emerging platforms.Take full ownership of production from concept to final edit using mobilefirst tools and fast workflow.Identify viral hooks, trending formats and cultural moments that align with our brand and drive attention.Build a content roadmap showcasing recipe inspiration, app benefits, behindthescenes startup life, and creative storytelling beyond food reels.Understand the needs of B2B and B2C audiences.Study what''s working for brands and creators, adapt the best ideas for Appetise.Create Content That Drives Reach, Virality, User & Revenue Growth (50%) shoot, edit, and post highquality, scrollstopping content every day.Be on camera for founder skits, street interviews, app demos and storytelling.Shoot, edit and post cooking and mealprep content with recipes from the platform.Dive deep into customer and user insights to discover and double down on what works.Experiment with formats, hooks, pain points and content pillars to drive engagement and reach.Collaborate with the Head of Marketing, founders and team members to create authentic, entertaining, shareable content.Adapt your approach and output for B2B and B2C needs.Drive Growth & Engagement (15%) post strategically to maximise reach, engagement and follower growth.Review engagement and platform metrics to align with business outcomes: user acquisition, revenue growth and app engagement.Monitor performance metrics (views, shares, saves, follower growth, app downloads) and double down on what works.Feed topperforming organic content into paid campaigns to lower CAC and improve ROAS.Engage with our community by replying to comments, DMs and building relationships with followers.Experiment & Iterate (5%) run rapid content experiments to test new ideas, formats and platforms.Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, new features and cultural trends.Bring a testandlearn mindset: fail fast, scale what works, and always iterate.Who You AreSocialnative you live on TikTok and Instagram, spotting trends before they peak.Cameraready comfortable on camera, delivering authentic storytelling without a script.Fullstack creator you can shoot, edit and post using mobile tools and fast workflows; no production team required.Highvolume executor comfortable creating and posting multiple times per day and iterating quickly.Scrappy & resourceful thrive in lowbudget, highcreativity environments; make magic with a phone, good lighting and great ideas.Production literacy understand cameras, lighting and production to scale up when needed.Datainformed track what works (views, engagement, follower growth, app installs) and use insights to improve.Strategically creative build brand, drive app growth and reduce acquisition costs; not just content for content''s sake.Startuptough love fastpaced, highautonomy environments where you own outcomes and move without red tape.Obsessed with content consume, create and think about content all day; see viral opportunities everywhere.Why This Role MattersOrganic content is the most underutilised growth lever at Appetise.
