We offer secure and cost-effective solutions for short or long-term storage of aircraft, ensuring proper maintenance and protection.Join APAS''s dynamic team in a key role as a Licenced Aircraft Engineer, playing a vital role in maintenance activities at our facility in Alice Springs.Key ResponsibilitiesAircraft Maintenance & Induction: Conduct in-depth narrow and wide-body aircraft induction, including engine/APU preservation.Manage periodic maintenance checks, ensuring all aircraft meet stringent quality standards.Oversee customer work requests, aircraft inspections, ADs, and ensure prompt responses.Aircraft Reactivation & Troubleshooting: Involve in complex component changes, engine runs, and troubleshooting.Utilise technical expertise to identify and rectify defects promptly.Work closely with a tight-knit team of professionals focused on delivering maintenance excellence.Engage directly with major airlines and leasing entities to provide exceptional customer support.Act as a liaison between APAS and international partners, representing our commitment to quality and service.Compliance & Innovation: Ensure full compliance with all relevant CASA, EASA, FAA, 2-REG, BCAA, and other NAA Part 145 maintenance approvals; stay abreast of latest industry innovations and incorporate them into APAS''s maintenance practices.Contribute to APAS''s ongoing growth and success in the Asia-Pacific region through continuous improvement and embracing new technologies.RequirementsApplicants MUST have Part 66 Licenced Engineers (CASA/EASA/UKCAA) with B737, Dash8 or A330 Type Rating on licence.Strong technical knowledge of major aircraft types.Ability to demonstrate competence through a comprehensive work logbook.Strong IT capabilities to utilise APAS'' cuttingedge maintenance platform.Excellent team collaboration skills.Creative problemsolving and ability to handle pressure in a dynamic environment.Desirable Criteria:Experience on specified aircraft engines.Elevated work platform licence.Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC).A330, B737 NG, Dash 8 (type ratings as preferred).CompensationSalary Range: $120,000 $150,000 + Superannuation (11%) + Overtime.LocationAPAS Facility, Alice Springs Airport, Alice Springs, Northern Territory.APAS is committed to supporting candidates through a visa solution with a clearly defined pathway to permanent residency.By accepting the Licenced Aircraft Engineer role at Asia Pacific Aircraft Storage, you''ll be stepping into a world of opportunities, embracing cuttingedge technologies, and contributing to an industry leader''s vision for the future.
