Pimpama Pavilion is an exciting modern venue that boasts a 300+ seat restaurant, 200+ seat sports bar with TAB facilities, a luxury gaming room and separate function and entertainment areas.Pimpama Pavilion offers our customers an exceptional modern and innovative pub menu, a full suite of beverage choices and multiple entertainment and promotional activities.The RoleAn exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated, handson and careerfocused Duty Manager, who is a proven proactive leader with experience to establish and drive continuous improvements in food and beverage operations, customer service and staff management.This is a fulltime role with flexibility required across a 7day roster working mornings, days, nights, late nights, weekends and public holidays.The successful candidate would be part of creating lasting memories for our guests and strive to provide exceptional customer service to showcase the best of what Pimpama Pavilion has to offer.Tasks include but are not limited to:Provide exceptional customer service to all visiting guestsEnsure all staff abide by all Liquor licensing and Gaming regulationsPerform ID checks, cash handling, stock control, balancing DTSSupervise and manage staff during shift operationsA good understanding of rostering to manage staff and labour costs efficiently.The ability to help and develop a motivated consistent team.Have a genuine passion for what you doBuild and maintain positive relationships with the Venue Manager to meet business needs.Be proactive, professional and focused in a constant changing and challenging environment.Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests.Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety.Who we are looking for:Minimum of 2 years recent experience in similar roleProven ability to manage a teamConfident dealing with financial figures, budgets and reportsProactive to handle multiple tasks at onceSuperior time management, communication, and leadership skillsBe motivated and able to work under pressureHave a positive cando attitude to get things doneAvailable to work across a 7day rosterCurrent RSA and RSGOwn reliable transportFull working rights within AustraliaHow to apply:If this sounds like you and you would like to join our team, please apply now via SEEK with your cover letter outlining your previous experience and current resume.Please note:If you have been successful in making it to the interview stage, you will be contacted within one week of sending through your application.
