Senior Leading Hand - Landscape ConstructionSpace Landscape Construction is a South Australian owned and operated, commercial landscaping company. Our current clients include local and state government, Tier 1 Builders, as well as private development companies.Due to continue growth and increased project demand, we are looking to fill the role of a Senior Leading Hand.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced, hands on Senior Leading Hand to support the successful delivery of multiple commercial landscaping projects across South Australia. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in high-quality workmanship, leads by example and understands the importance of maintaining strong client and team relationships.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a positive, professional team within a quality focussed and rapidly growing landscaping business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise on-site crews across hard and soft landscaping projectsWork alongside team members, providing direction, support, and mentorshipAssist in coordinating day-to-day site operations to meet project timelinesEnsure all work is delivered to Space Landscape Construction''s quality standardsMaintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety practicesConduct daily site checks, ensuring compliance and safety procedures are followedCoordinate with subcontractors and suppliers; assist with ordering materialsOperate machinery and undertake handson landscaping tasks as requiredRead and interpret plans accurately to guide team executionReport site progress and any issues to the Site Manager or Project ManagerQualificationsMinimum 3 years'' experience in a similar landscaping or construction environmentProven leadership experience in a leading hand or senior team member capacityCurrent driver''s licence (MR licence highly regarded)White Card (mandatory)Skid Steer and Excavator tickets highly regardedStrong ability to read and interpret plansExcellent communication, organisational and problemsolving skillsHigh attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomesHandson approach with a willingness to lead from the frontAt Space , we value our people and the careers they aspire to.
