You will provide a concierge service for state significant development, infrastructure, and government projects, supporting proponents to understand and navigate the EPA''s permissioning process.In this role you will:Implement EPA''s permissioning framework to ensure that scheduled activities, infrastructure, and other development projects are appropriately approved under the Environment Protection Act 2017, including that proponents understand and minimise or eliminate risks of harm to communities and the environment from pollution and waste.Provide a concierge service for state significant development, infrastructure, and government projects, supporting proponents to understand and navigate the EPA''s permissioning process.Lead strategic engagement with key stakeholders, especially in preapplication phases of permissions; provide clear and timely guidance and advice to applicants on permissioning processes, pathways, and timelines to increase efficiency of application process for both applicant and the EPA.Collaborate with government partners to identify and deliver improved customer service through redtape reduction and joint approval processes.Skills and experience:A relevant tertiary degree and/or postgraduate qualifications is desirable.Senior experience in a permissioning function, preferably within Government.Detailed knowledge of the Environment Protection Act 2017 and regulations.Strong knowledge of development assessment and approval processes, and the translation of policy and guidance into practical application.To view the Position Description: Click HereHow to applyClick the "Apply" button to submit your application.
