Spudshed is passionate about produce and providing our customers with an excellent shopping experience!The RoleAs Spudshed continues to grow in 2026, we are seeking two motivated leaders to join our business: one Dairy/Freezer Manager for North of the River locations and one Dairy/Freezer Manager for South of the River locations.This role includes a structured, handson training program, typically running for 36 months, depending on your experience. Training will be delivered alongside our established, experienced teams across selected Northern or Southern store locations, equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed for longterm success.As you take on the role of Dairy/Freezer Manager, you''ll use the leadership skills and expertise you''ve developed to efficiently oversee your area of stores, creating an energetic and dynamic environment. Using your training, you''ll introduce new trends and make sure both customers and employees have a positive and engaging experience at Spudshed!ResponsibilitiesOversee Dairy/Freezer department performance across multiple stores within your assigned region (North or South of the River).Drive sales growth, margin, and availability through effective merchandising, range management, and promotional execution.Partner with Store Managers to ensure departments operate efficiently, compliantly, and within budget.Analyse and maintain sales, productivity, and labour reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.Actively manage wastage, shrinkage, and quality control, supporting teams with bestpractice processes and seasonal product knowledge.Ensure accurate stock management, including delivery checks, rotation, and inventory levels aligned to store needs.Coach, develop, and engage department leaders and teams to deliver consistent presentation, food safety, and operational standards.Promote a strong customerfocused culture, ensuring high service standards are met across all locations.Qualifications3+ years'' experience in supermarket or highvolume retail, ideally as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Department Manager.Proven ability to lead and influence teams across multiple locations.Strong commercial awareness with experience improving sales, profit, and department performance.Confident leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to operate effectively in a fastpaced, handson retail environment.Willingness to work weekends as required.Capacity to work in cold environments, including freezer departments.Forklift licence (highly regarded).If this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you!EEO StatementOnly successful applicants will be contacted and only applicants with the appropriate visa to indefinitely live and work in Australia or permanent residents of Australia will be considered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
