In Australia we have a strong pipeline of construction projects to deliver to our major clients.Wind Turbine Installation Construction workersWe are seeking Construction workers with Wind Turbine experience to join our team on a casual basis for work on our projects near Wellington in Central West, NSW.Positions can be local or fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) or drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) position to provide flexibility and coverage for the varied work locations.Roles will be available starting from January and placing through to May.RoleThe role of the Wind Technician encompasses the installation, mechanical and electrical completions, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbines at a wind farm construction site. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The Wind Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functionality of wind turbines and compliance with industry standards throughout their lifecycle.What you''ll be doingWorking within the teams to install wind turbines across the range of installation teams including offloading equipment and pad preparation, preinstallation of equipment and installation of the turbinesOperate relevant equipment safely and efficiently.Following the instructions of the leading hand and supervisors to meet the delivery of the construction program.What we''re looking forProven experience as a Wind Turbine Technician, preferably in a FIFO/DIDO roleStrong understanding of the wind turbine installation processExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work safely at heights and in remote locationsWillingness to travel and work flexible schedules to meet the needs of the businessExcellent communication and teamwork skillsSkills, Experience and QualificationsCurrent GWOART trained Highly desirable.GE experience not essential but highly desirable.Heavy Vehicle License (HC/MC) desirableAdvanced or Intermediate Rigging tickets (RA,RI)Dogman Ticket (DG)EWP (WP)We are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
