We Are Known For flexibility, service and our leadership in innovative steel reinforcement solutions and technology.ResponsibilitiesConduct inductions, training, and competency assessment of new and existing workers.Be visible and regularly engage with all workers through safety meetings, toolbox talks, safety observations, etc.Coach, mentor and educate workers, team leaders and supervisors to achieve best safety practices.Conduct routine safety inspections, monitoring and analysis of work areas.Undertake risk assessments, incident reporting and root cause investigations.Work closely with the National WHS Team and Operations Team to implement safety improvement programs, policies and procedures.To Be Successful / QualificationsMinimum Cert IV Work Health & Safety.Cert IV Training and Assessing.Minimum 5 years'' experience and knowledge of health and safety within a manufacturing environment is desirable.Sound knowledge of computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet and intranet relevant to the role to ensure work is completed in a professional, accurate and timely manner.Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder engagement, to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team, manager and customers.Exceptional organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks to achieve tight deadlines.High levels of self-motivation, drive and initiative combined with the ability to adapt to changes in circumstances.Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.Additional InformationIt is an exciting time to be part of the Ausreo family with opportunities for career development and progression.
