At Australian Turf Club we are guided by our corporate values Collaborate, Care, Achieve & Innovate We are one club by name and nature, empowering our people to lead from the front and deliver results in a safe and supportive workplace.THE OPPORTUNITYPerform repairs, maintenance, and cleaning across the Pool and Stable complex at Rosehill Gardens.Assist the Leading Hand in developing and implementing ongoing maintenance programs.Maintain and repair equine exercise equipment and monitor horse swimming activities in line with ATC guidelines.Conduct inspections of buildings, facilities, and equipment, providing condition reports and recommended actions.Maintain water quality through regular testing, chemical management, and record keeping.Follow all WHS and safety requirements, including correct use of PPE and safe handling/storage of pool chemicals.Undertake additional duties as required, including acting as Leading Hand during staff absences.THE RIGHT FITTo be successful in the role, the right fit will possess:Experience maintaining and cleaning within a stable or related facility.Knowledge of safe handling and storage of chemicals used for cleaning/maintaining a pool.Experience working around horses.Sound knowledge of manual handling techniques.
