As a Risk Support Analyst, you''ll play a key supporting role within our Central Risk team, helping maintain strong first line risk practices across Insurance Australia. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their risk or governance career who enjoys structure, analysis and collaboration. You''ll work closely with senior team members to support risk governance, reporting and continuous improvement, while building a solid foundation in the three lines of defence.ResponsibilitiesSupport risk forum governance by preparing materials, coordinating actions and maintaining accurate records.Assist with the management and reporting of key risk artefacts, including risk profiles and obligation registers.Support monitoring and reporting across the three lines of defence, helping ensure consistency and alignment to frameworks.Coordinate Business Continuity Planning activities, including testing schedules, documentation and follow-ups.Prepare and support Line 1 risk reporting for management and governance forums.Assist with the collation of divisional risk insights, helping roll these into a clear and cohesive organisational view.Support the development of reporting packs, templates and analysis used by senior leaders.Contribute to improving risk reporting processes, including accuracy, consistency and efficiency.Assist with the development of risk education materials and training for Line 1 teams.Qualifications13 years'' experience in risk, governance, compliance, audit or a related role, ideally in a regulated environment.A foundational understanding of risk management principles and the three lines of defence.Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to managing information and deadlines.Good analytical skills, with an interest in data, reporting and risk insights.Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.A proactive mindset and willingness to learn, ask questions and build capability over time.Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry studies (preferred but not essential).Location ToowongClose to a variety of public transport and easy parking options, the Toowong office has excellent end of trip facilities (including secure bike storage and showers), outdoor spaces and plenty of modern collaborative areas to work and connect with colleagues.
