As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we are expanding our team and looking for motivated individuals to join us.Position SummaryWe are seeking Solar Installers / Electrical Apprentices to support our Journeyman Electricians with residential and commercial solar installations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and is eager to build their career in solar and electrical trades.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Journeyman Electricians with installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar PV systemsAssemble and mount solar panels, racking, and related hardware on rooftops or ground mountsPull wire, install conduit, and support electrical tie-insPerform basic construction tasks such as drilling, mounting, and equipment setupEnsure all work is completed safely and in accordance with electrical codes and site proceduresMaintain a clean worksite and properly handle tools and equipmentFollow direction, ask questions when needed, and work as part of a high-performing crewQualificationsRegistered Electrical Apprentice (1st4th year)Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor conditionsStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailValid driver''s licence; clean driving record preferredAbility to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work for extended periodsCSTS, First Aid, Fall Protection, and other safety certificates are considered assets (training can be provided)Why Work With Firefly SolarCompetitive wages based on experience and apprenticeship levelOpportunities for career growth and apprenticeship sponsorshipWork with an experienced, supportive team that prioritizes safety and qualityA positive, respectful work environment where hard work is recognizedMeaningful work that contributes to a sustainable future#J-18808-Ljbffr
