As a Field Assessor in Property Assessing, you''ll play a vital role in helping customers navigate the repair and settlement process after property damage. You''ll combine technical know-how with empathy to ensure every claim is managed efficiently and to the highest standard. This is a permanent fulltime role with the ideal candidate residing in the Newcastle region.What You''ll DoAttend customer properties to assess damage, quantify repairs, and authorise settlements.Negotiate and manage repair scopes, variations, and total loss settlements with suppliers and customers.Monitor repairs through to completion, resolving delays and ensuring quality outcomes.Drive costeffective solutions with suppliers to meet agreed targets for claims costs.Collaborate with claims teams and partners to resolve complex issues and deliver exceptional customer experiences.Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.What You''ll BringMinimum 3 years'' experience in property assessing, loss adjusting, or construction trades.Strong understanding of claims management processes and repair methodologies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Current driver''s licence and ability to travel as required.A customerfirst mindset and commitment to delivering highquality outcomes.What We OfferBoosted superannuation with 13% as standard. 20 days annual leave + 5 days MyLeave (extra leave for what''s important to you).
