We help psychosocial and neurodivergent teens and young adults turn their funding into real life: getting out of the house, going to the gym, playing sport, building routine, confidence and basic life skills. We are hiring multiple casual support workers based in Lake Macquarie who can work across Lake Macquarie, the Central Coast and Newcastle.The roleYou will mostly work 1:1 with teen and young adult NDIS participants, doing things like:Sport and movement: soccer, basketball, gym, walks, swimsOutings: movies, arcade, beach, bushwalks, cafesBuilding simple routines around sleep, food, hygiene, school/TAFE/workMentoring: listening, encouraging, modelling good choicesSupporting complex behaviours and big emotions in a calm, steady wayTaking basic shift notes and communicating with the team and familiesThis is not a sit on the couch role.
