We support some of Australia''s most important infrastructure through a strong focus on safety, care, and collaboration.Purpose of the RoleBGIS is seeking a HVAC Technician Rotating Shifts to support mechanical and refrigeration services within a large, highly regarded public healthcare precinct on the Gold Coast. Reporting to site leadership, you will work closely with technical teams and site partners to ensure building systems are safe, compliant, and operating smoothly around the clock.This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, brings a thoughtful and steady approach to technical work, and enjoys contributing to an environment that supports community wellbeing.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems including chillers, package units, split systems, ventilation, and filtrationDiagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and safelyInspect, maintain, and support chilled water systems and BMSComplete works in line with contract requirements, KPIs, and safety standardsMaintain accurate service records and reporting documentationWork collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors, and site stakeholdersSupport continuous improvement and safe work practices across the siteEducation, Experience & SkillsRestricted Electrical LicenceWhite Card and current Driver''s Licence (manual capability)Experience working with HVAC plant and building services systemsClear communication style and a collaborative, respectful approachExperience within healthcare, critical infrastructure, or 24/7 operational sitesFamiliarity with BMS and structured maintenance environmentsInterest in ongoing learning and site-specific technical developmentShift Structure & Working Arrangements12hour rotating shifts:6:00am 6:00pm6:00pm 6:00amFull-time, permanent, onsite roleFlexibility to work day and night rotations is essentialWhy Join BGIS?
