The location of this role is within the WAIO Fixed Plant Maintenance, Infrastructure Services maintenance team, based at Newman Operations.Roster: Lifestyle roster, 4 days on, 5 off, 5 nights on, 4 off, 5 days on, 5 offReporting to the Infrastructure Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, your role will include but not be limited to;Undertaking preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with maintenance planning systems and recommending appropriate follow-up actionWorking from schematic drawings, prints, plans or manuals, and recording any modifications.Statutory Inspections and testing on Plumbing assetsStatutory testing and monitoring of Potable Water Assets with WAIO drinking water standardBreakdown and fault analysis, repairs and servicing on site plumbing assetsCarrying out commissioning, fault finding and repair work within the whole-of-job scope, including pre-work, preparation of JHAs, organising materials, execution, testing and completion of tasksSafely carry out isolations in preparation for maintenance and shutdownsAccurately completing documentation, including drawing mark-ups and technical reportingAccurately recording information for quality and reliability reporting;Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance systems and cost saving initiativesUndertaking training and development requirementsAbout YouOur successful candidate will have the following:WA Contractors License highly regardedBackflow prevention (essential)Excavator/ Operator tickets and experience advantageousMachinery tickets highly regardedHave a proven track record of safety managementWorking knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection Act & RegulationsHave previous experience in similar roleExperience with Fiori and 1SAP Work Management processes and Microsoft Office highly regardedMinimum of C class manual driver''s license (HR Licence Preferred)About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
