Lindsay Rural and the Hunters business provide essential services and products to rural Australia across most Australian growing regions.Today we employ over 1,800 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country.The RoleLindsay Fresh Logistics is currently seeking a TUG driver with a HC or MC licence to join the team based at Brisbane Markets, Rocklea.This role is a full-time position working Tuesday Saturday. Starting time will be between 3am-6am.Primary Duties Of The Role IncludeDriving the Tug Truck around the markets and to and from the port of BrisbaneHooking and unhooking trailersBacking double and single trailers onto docks and in the yardCoordinating drivers within the yardCommunicating effectively via 2-way radioEngaging in accurate and time sensitive moving of freightRe-fuelling tug vehicles.The candidates we are looking for will have;A current HC or MC drivers licence and experience in this licence classTUG Driving ExperienceSwing Lift Experience (not essential but a willingness to learn)MSIC card (preferred)Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (preferred)A commitment to workplace health and safety (essential)To be successful for this role applicants must;Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol testProvide a current traffic print outOther Benefits IncludeModern and state of the art vehicles and equipmentSafety focused organisationEqual Opportunity EmployerThe Lindsay Group is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
