Reporting to the AOD Team Leader, you''ll work closely with clients and stakeholders, building trust and pathways to recovery.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing individual and group counselling sessions for clients experiencing AOD issuesConducting assessments and developing treatment plansFacilitating culturally appropriate education and awareness programsSupporting outreach in remote communities such as Marble Bar, Warralong, and YandeyarraMaintaining accurate case notes, treatment records and reportsCollaborating with other providers and stakeholders for holistic client supportAttending regular supervision (internal and external)The Right Person, Not Just the Right SkillsTo succeed in this role, you will need:A Certificate IV or higher in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health, Counselling, Social Work or a related fieldAt least 2 years'' experience in AOD, community or health servicesCurrent National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)A valid WA Driver''s LicenceWe''d also value:Experience working with Aboriginal communitiesTrauma-informed care trainingSkills in motivational interviewing and harm minimisationHigh-level case documentation and digital admin skillsYou''re someone with a big heart, sharp mind and deep commitment to community wellbeing.
