We offer both Metro and casual FIFO work opportunities, or a combination of both.BMH Electrics Pty Ltd exists to maintain, install and assess electrical assets and equipment for a wide range of customers including land developers, power utilities, mining, display technologies and advertising as well as the domestic market.RoleA Trades Assistant is responsible for helping and supporting tradespeople and assisting with maintenance of worksites and equipment. Trades Assistants commonly work within the electrical, telecommunications, mining and building and construction industries. They facilitate the operation of various types of machinery involved within the construction process.ResponsibilitiesCompletes all related project works as directed by the site supervisor/project manager/operations managerAssists with the responsibility and accountability for installation of all service, equipment and materials utilised to complete workSupports tradespeople, contractors and operators with general labouring assistance, by operating hand and power tools and by cleaning and preparing worksitesEnsures the worksite and associated equipment is clean, safe, tidy and ready for useUndertakes and completes assigned tasks with minimal supervision and in compliance with health and safety regulationsAssists trade workers with digging, lifting and cutting cablesAssists with installation and maintenance of electrical systemsSkills/Experience/Qualifications/KPIsEssential Criteria (Mandatory)Valid drivers license minimum class MR or HRConstruction Card (White Card)High Risk Card - WP, DG, LFEDD/PTR TrainingFirst Aid/ CPR/LVRDemonstrate positive HSEQ mentality and be proactive towards safety in the workplace.Demonstrated experience in aspects of operating machineryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDesirable CriteriaExperience in computer-based maintenance systemsPrevious Fixed Plant ExperienceCurrent RTIO lock holders, personal isolation and Iron Ore EssentialsWorking at Heights TrainingThis is a great opportunity to get on board with an exciting asset management company driven to grow and excel in the utilities and resources sector.#J-18808-Ljbffr
