Permanent Part-time, 26 hrs per week.Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pmAs the Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs for our Sutton Park Residential Aged Care home. Your ability to foster strong relationships with residents, contractors and suppliers will be a key part of making sure every day is the best it can be.Key duties:Handson repairs and maintenanceGeneral maintenance; painting, plastering, equipment repairs, installing doors, cupboards/shelvesMonitor stock levels of consumables and reorder where requiredRespond to maintenance issues, including requests and complaints in a timely and professional mannerTo be successful, you will haveExperience in maintenance duties, preferably in an aged care environmentRelevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experienceCurrent valid drivers'' licenceEvidence of Australian work rightsCurrent national police check (or willing to obtain)Flu Vaccination (Recommended)A preemployment medical assessment may be required for this roleAvailability to participate in a shared oncall roster to ensure continuity of serviceOur benefitsOur culture is both supportive and collaborative, where you can make your role your own.
