Care Services Assistant Bolton ClarkeJoin to apply for the Care Services Assistant role at Bolton Clarke.LocationBrisbane''s Bayside area of Thornlands Bolton Clarke''s Moreton Shores, a 120bed residential aged care home.Role OverviewThe Food Services Assistant (also known as Care Services Assistant) plays a pivotal frontline carer role with a particular focus on nutrition and dining, supporting residents to live a life of fulfilment through the delivery of personcentred care and support according to needs and preferences of each resident in everyday practice.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals.Provide care and support aligned with residents'' preferred daily routines with a strong focus on meal choices, nutrition, allergies and food intolerances.Enhance the overall dining experience and assist residents with meal selection and timing preferences.Prepare and set up dining areas to meet individual needs and preferences.Actively engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes.Use empathy and kindness to foster a positive dining experience and promote resident choice and control to uphold dignity and respect.Maintain accurate nutrition and diet information as required and assist with quality food preparation in accordance with the Food Safety Plan, Bolton Clarke Food Standards and Dining Framework.Assist with maintaining kitchen stock supplies as required.RequirementsDemonstrated customer service skills.A compassionate and caring attitude.Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded).Willingness to take direction from others.Reliability and shift flexibility.Good timemanagement skills and the ability to work well under pressure.Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate, etc).Completed police check.NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement cost refunded on appointment).
