Our team is committed and driven, and it''s because of them that BNE is such a great airport.About the roleThe Senior Data Engineer is responsible for system analysis, design, development and maintenance for the organisation''s Data and Analytics services on Microsoft Azure iPaaS. You will liaise with BAC''s Business users to develop Data Pipelines and Analytics Storage Solutions in line with correct implementation practices. In addition, this role will also provide technical expertise to the implementation, administration, maintenance and support of these services and services to meet the current and future needs.Some key areas of focus include:Develop data integration and storage solutions, including Azure Synapse Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Logic App based integrations and service orchestrations.Development and Operation of Data Factory pipelines to extract load and transform data for subsequent data analyticsPreparation and storage of data for Advanced Analytics applications including Machine LearningManage the Purview Data Governance Platform including user onboarding and trainingAbout youYou will ideally be tertiary qualified with several years of relevant experience. This should include:Experience with Azure iPaaSSeveral years of combined development experience with Microsoft ETL tools and SQL Server based Data WarehouseExperience with some, or all, of the following Microsoft Azure components - Logic Apps, Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Cosmos DB and API ManagementExpert level RDBMS and SQL knowledgeAgile and DevOps experience.Previous experience with Azure DevOpsHands on experience designing Data Lake and Data Warehouse analytics storage solutionsWe are seeking a motivated self-starter, who is capable of building and maintaining solid relationships with a wide variety of internal stakeholders.
