We exist to strengthen the local economy, build connection and deliver place-based activations that make Caloundra a thriving destination to live, work and visit.We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager Markets, Membership & Partnerships to lead the commercial performance of our flagship markets, grow and engage our membership base, and secure strong sponsorship and partnership outcomes.This is a hands-on, results-driven role for someone who thrives in operational delivery, relationship building and commercial growth.About the RoleReporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial and operational performance of the Chamber''s key revenue platforms, including:Caloundra Markets (up to five markets)Membership and EventsPartnerships and SponsorshipsYou will lead a Market Coordinator and casual delivery staff, work closely with vendors, members and partners, and ensure our markets and events are professionally run, financially sustainable and continuously improving.Key ResponsibilitiesMarkets & OperationsLead end-to-end market operations, compliance, staffing and deliveryDrive vendor recruitment, retention and satisfactionOptimise occupancy, revenue and foot trafficEnsure strong risk management, permits and reportingDeliver high-quality, vibrant market experiences aligned to curation strategyVendor & Stakeholder RelationshipsBuild a loyal, high-performing vendor communityManage expectations, feedback and issue resolution professionallyMaintain a strong pipeline of new vendorsMembership & EventsDrive membership growth, engagement and renewalsSupport the delivery of high-quality Chamber eventsIncrease attendance, participation and member prideUse CRM systems to track engagement and performancePartnerships & SponsorshipIdentify and secure new sponsors and partnersBuild compelling sponsorship packages and value propositionsRetain and grow long-term commercial partnershipsEnsure sponsor activation adds value for members and eventsReporting & CollaborationProvide regular performance, financial and risk reportingSupply accurate operational information to the marketing teamWork collaboratively with the General Manager and broader Chamber stakeholdersWhat We''re Looking ForYou are commercially minded, operationally strong and highly relational.
