This program is a strengths-based, person-centred program that is 12 weeks long followed by a 3 months transitional support phase.Your main dutiesDelivering evidence-based psychological and psychosocial AOD treatments in a residential settingDelivering an evidence-based rehabilitation programProviding one-to-one support and interventions, relapse prevention and ongoing assistance to improve psychosocial and family functioningAbout YouQualifications in a social science field and experience working with individuals with drug and alcohol issuesDeliver person-centred, strengths-based AOD support using evidence-based approachesInnovative engagement strategies and strong collaborative relationships with the health and community sectorDemonstrated ability to apply harm minimisation practices in the treatment of people with AOD issuesAbility to provide evidence-based brief interventions for people who misuse alcohol and other drugs and for family members affected by someone else s useAbility to provide evidence-based clinical practice for people with complex needs and/or dual diagnosisGood understanding of community resources, treatment services and referral networksWhy work for Calvary?At Calvary, our staff matter.
