Our client requires 24 hour care so we are looking for several Nurses to join the team.You will work alongside two support workers at all times.Providing excellent, client-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as onsite cannulation for IV medication delivery, management of seizures, wounds, infections, pain and other routine medicationsMaintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documentsOverseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best client outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring and escalating changes as requiredSpend time with the client to connect, share stories and show empathyProvide guidance and support to the care team, including Support Workers and greater Allied Health teamAbout youExperience as a Registered Nurse (RN) and registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 NurseNDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or the ability to obtainGood judgement and decision-making skills; able to respond quickly to issues and effectively resolveThe ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with clients, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholdersAn understanding of the disability framework and requirements, including safe medication administrationA high level of accountability for your own workA friendly and positive attitude with the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviourBenefits & cultureCareChoice is proud to be an EEO employer.
