If you are an experienced umpire or referee in Basketball, Netball, or Soccer with some experience in sport and recreation programming, this is a great opportunity to join our team and kick start your career in leisure and sports.The role entails court convening, umpiring/refereeing, sports and recreation programming, outstanding customer service and creating value for the community. Successful applicants will be employed on a casual daytoday basis and will be required to be available to work shifts in line with our sports programs.Key Activities of This RoleRefereeing or umpiring Netball, Indoor Soccer, or Basketball games.Deliver school holiday programmes including multisports activities, sports coaching programmes or inflatables.Contribute to the development of sports and school holiday programmes.Essential RequirementsCurrent First Aid certificate (HLTAID 011) or willingness to obtain prior to any offer of employment.Current CPR certificate (HLTAID 009) or willingness to obtain prior to any offer of employment.Previous experience working in a sport, fitness or wellbeing environment.Previous experience umpiring or officiating soccer, basketball and/or netball, or delivering sports programmes.Working with Children Check Clearance Number or Application Number as per Child Protection Regulation 2013, or willingness to obtain prior to any offer of employment.It is the responsibility of successful applicants to undertake a course of Hepatitis B and Tetanus vaccinations or to demonstrate their immunity prior to commencement of employment.Equal OpportunityCentral Coast Council is committed to equalopportunity employment.
