We''re looking for a proactive and detail-driven team member to help us deliver essential emergency services for the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.What You''ll Do!Keep us connected - Update forms, info notes, web pages, media briefs, and processes to ensure accurate and timely communication.Shape safer communities - Assist with planning assessments, land use proposals, and building designs, focusing on bushfire risk mitigation.Be the organiser behind the scenes - Provide secretariat support for key committees like LEMC and BFAC.Drive action - Support projects that deliver the Shire''s bushfire mitigation schedule, coordinating resources and engaging stakeholders.Champion smooth operations - Maintain and document processes for Bushfire Brigades and State Emergency Service administration.What We''re Looking For!A team player who thrives in a dynamic, close-knit environment.Someone with a ''can-do'' attitude and a love for systems and processes.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Previous experience in local government emergency services or ranger roles is a bonus.BenefitsAn attractive salary on offer of up to $79,000 per annum is on offer dependent on experience.
