Casey Eye Centre is a well-established and growing ophthalmic practice located in Narre Warren. We are dedicated to providing exceptional eye care in a friendly, professional, and patient-focused environment.This is a permanent part-time/full-time Orthoptic position, offering a minimum of 48-76 hours per fortnight with regular all-day sessions on Monday-Friday.As a key member of our team, you will play an important role in supporting our ophthalmologists and orthoptists in delivering outstanding patient care. Working within a small practice means you''ll enjoy variety in your day and have the opportunity to be involved in both clinical and administrative aspects of the practice.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient assessment and Orthoptic workupDiagnostic Testing (OCT Heidelberg, Biometry Lenstar, Topography Pentacam, Humphrey Visual Field, Optos)Surgical booking and list managementAssistance in maintaining stock levels, management of Anti-VEGF patients and scriptsSupporting the team with administrative and reception dutiesTo succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and time managementHigh level of computer literacyA caring and patient-focused attitudeFlexibility to assist across clinical and administrative areasQualificationsBachelor of Science in Orthoptics (or equivalent)Current registration with the Australian Orthoptic Board (AOB)Experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply full training will be provided.To apply for this role, please email your CV and a cover letter to Sally at [email protected].
