With a strong foundation in design and workshop fabrication skills, the ideal candidate will bring valuable expertise in utilising workshop tools and equipment. They will also play a key role in ensuring smooth information flow, utilising their strong IT and communication skills to enhance engagement, streamline processes, and facilitate effective collaboration with students and colleagues.Key DutiesProvide support for the members of the Design teaching staff in an administrative, organisational and technical capacity and technical support to students in classesProviding assistance to students with timber, acrylic and metal based designsCoordinate and manage materials and equipment for 3D printers and laser cuttersManage exhibitions and display of student works and complete associated dutiesPreparing timber, acrylic and metal for class useModel and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.Skills and ExperienceDesign and workshop fabrication skills and experience with workshop tools and equipmentExperience with 3D printer and laser cutter skills is desirableExperience working with secondary students (middle and senior school) is preferredQualifications in a design or engineering fieldHolds a Current Drivers LicenceHolds or is willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check and safe use of machinery trainingHolds or is willing to obtain safe use of machineryWhy Caulfield Grammar SchoolOur culture is defined by the five values: Pursuing Excellence, Inspiring Creativity, Thriving Together, Embracing Diversity, and Living Wholeheartedly.
