If you are an experienced umpire or referee in Basketball, Netball, or Soccer with some experience in sport and recreation programming, this is a great opportunity to join our team and kick start your career in leisure and sports.The role of Program Delivery Assistant undertakes court convening and umpiring/refereeing as well as completing sports and recreation programming, providing outstanding customer service and creating value for the community.Access a range of opportunities to broaden your skills in the leisure sector.This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.Successful applicants will be employed on a casual day to day basis and will be required to be available to work shifts in line with our sports programs at Peninsula Leisure Centre and Lake Haven Recreation Centre.Key Activities Of This Role IncludeRefereeing or umpiring Netball, Indoor Soccer or Basketball games;Deliver school holiday programs including multi-sports activities, sports coaching programs or inflatables;Contribute to the development of sports and school holiday programs.Essential Requirements IncludeCurrent First Aid certificate (HLTAID 011), or willingness to obtain prior to any offer of employment;Current Resuscitation (CPR) certificate (HLTAID 009), or willingness to obtain prior to any offer of employment;Previous experience working in a sport, fitness or well-being environment;Previous experience in officiating soccer, basketball and/or netball or delivering sports programs;Working with Children Check Clearance Number or Application Number as per Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013 (if over 18 years of age), or willingness to obtain prior to any offer of employmentIt is the responsibility of successful applicants to undertake a course of Hepatitis B and Tetanus vaccinations or to demonstrate their immunity prior to commencement of employment.Equal OpportunityCentral Coast Council is committed to the goals of equal opportunity employment.
