You''ll work with a supportive crew, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults with precision.This role is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work as needed, plus a rotating on-call roster that includes an allowance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct mechanical assessments, fault diagnosis and repairs on Mack and Kenworth TrucksService and maintain trucks, trailers, and dollies in line with workshop proceduresRepair or replace brakes, suspension, steering systems, and major engine componentsPerform welding and grinding on chassis and comb rails of flat-top trailersComplete auto-electrical work on 12V and 24V systemsTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtimeOrder and install replacement parts in line with manufacturer specifications and quality standardsDevelop and update preventative maintenance schedulesMaintain accurate service and repair records in line with company proceduresAdhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environmentSkills And ExperienceMinimum 2 years'' experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy vehicles and trailersAustralian-recognised Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Trade QualificationProven experience working on MACK and Kenworth trucksFull Australian work rights (no restrictions)Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong understanding of safe work practicesPhysically fit and comfortable performing manual tasksReliable, motivated, and a collaborative team playerWhy Join Centurion?Competitive pay rates and benefits package, including overtime opportunities.Well-maintained machinery in a safety-first environment.Opportunities for training, career advancement and professional development.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Be part of a company that values safety, integrity, and excellence.Company OverviewCenturion is a premier logistics company with a long-standing reputation for excellence in transportation services across Australia.
