Here, your career isn''tjust a job it''s a purpose.Be the first point of contact at a high-profile TGE transport facility.We are seeking an experienced Level 4 Gatehouse Security Officer to support operations at a busy TGE logistics site, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, people, and freight while maintaining strict security and safety standards.This is a fast-paced, high-risk environment involving constant interaction with heavy vehicles, drivers, and operations staff. A strong safety mindset, clear communication, and attention to detail are essential.The RoleAs the Gatehouse Security Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting TGE operations, acting as the control point for site access and compliance.Key responsibilities include:Controlling site access and preventing unauthorised entryConducting vehicle and bag inspectionsCompleting accurate, real-time data entry into live national Excel spreadsheets (driver and vehicle information)Communicating frequently with TGE operations via two-way radio and phone systemsConducting site inductions for drivers and visitors as requiredMonitoring CCTV, access control, and electronic surveillance systemsOperating access control systems (issuing cards, locking/unlocking doors, auditing access)Recording incidents, breaches, and safety concernsAssisting with on-the-job training of other officersPerforming duties across Levels 13 when required (without deskilling)Work Environment TGE Site24/7 rotating rosterWeekdays: 8-hour shifts (06001400 / 14002200 / 22000600)Weekends: 12-hour shifts (06001800 / 18000600)Modern, fully heated and airconditioned gatehouseHighrisk logistics environment with continuous heavy vehicle movementPhysically active role with frequent walking between gatehouse and drivewaysBreaks taken at post when practical (officers cannot leave post)Free, secure onsite parkingMandatory RequirementsCurrent Security Licence Cert IICurrent First Aid CertificateAbility to work independently and unsupervisedStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPhysically fit and safety focusedDriver''s LicenceHighly RegardedPrevious experience in transport, freight, or logistics environmentsCCTV and access control system experienceStrong data entry and computer skills (Excel experience advantageous)Benefits & CultureProfessional, inclusive, and supportive work environmentOngoing training and career development opportunitiesAccess to a modern Learning Management System (LMS)Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees and familiesWellbeing programs covering mental, physical, and financial healthEmployee discounts at 400+ retailers AustraliawideIf you have experience in gatehouse security and thrive in a transport and logistics environment, we want to hear from you.Diversity StatementWithin Certis Australia, we believe our strength lies in the diversity of our people.
