In this fast-paced hands-on role, you will be encouraged to take pride in your work and be committed to working to a high level of safety, delivering exceptional hospitality services based on our award-winning standards and our client''s needs.Key Responsibilities:Be an integral part of the operations of busy commercial kitchensOperate commercial dishwashers and other commercial kitchen equipmentMaintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and benches ensuring all rubbish is removed and equipment is correctly storedPrepare equipment required for functions (chafing dishes, plates etc)Assist the chefs with general kitchen dutiesComply with all company policies, procedures, standards and safe work practices at all times.About you:We are looking for candidates who have the following qualifications:Be available to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including afternoons, evening and overnight shiftsHave proven experience in fast paced commercial kitchen environmentsHave a good understanding of the safety elements associated with this jobHave a good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handlingAbout UsChallenger Services Group is a premier national provider of essential service solutions, spanning cleaning, security, hospitality, government, aged care, and education sectors.
