Reporting to the Financial Reporting Lead, this role supports the financial operations of the organisation, with a strong focus on payroll tax compliance alongside broader accounting and reporting responsibilities.This is a handson role suited to someone who enjoys working with detail, values accuracy, and is looking to develop their finance career within a complex, fastpaced corporate environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Tax ComplianceSupport endtoend payroll tax compliance across all Australian states and territories, including monthly, quarterly and annual lodgementsAssist with payroll tax calculations, reconciliations and validation of payroll dataMaintain awareness of payroll tax legislation and jurisdictional thresholdsSupport payroll tax audits and respond to queries from state revenue authoritiesAssist with the development and maintenance of payroll tax processes, documentation and internal controlsGeneral Accounting & ReportingPerform monthend reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepanciesSupport financial analysis, reporting packs and data preparationAssist with journals, system updates and general ledger maintenanceSupport other compliance activities including BAS lodgementsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance functionStakeholder CollaborationWork closely with Payroll, Tax and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reportingBuild effective working relationships across the business, including stores, DCs and support officesProvide a high standard of internal customer serviceAbout YouExperience in an accounting or finance support role within a corporate or professional services environmentExposure to payroll tax compliance and multistate reporting is highly desirableStrong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processesHighly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracyConfident communicator with a collaborative, proactive approachComfortable working in a fastpaced and evolving environmentWhy Join Sigma Healthcare?Be part of a Top 50 ASXlisted organisation at a pivotal stage of growth and transformationGain handson exposure to complex, largescale finance operations within a national healthcare businessBuild specialist capability in payroll tax and compliance while developing broad accounting and reporting experienceAccess genuine career development and internal mobility opportunities as the business continues to expandEnjoy employee benefits including staff discounts across Chemist Warehouse and other group brandsJoin an inclusive workplace that values wellbeing, diversity and flexible ways of working (where operationally supported)#J-18808-Ljbffr
