OverviewJoin to apply for the Grounds Maintenance Team Member role at City Facilities Management Australia.This position is based in Southern Queensland and involves providing landscaping and gardening services across a number of sites within the Early Learning sector. You will work autonomously to maintain high standards, provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.ResponsibilitiesPerform landscaping services to several sites including mowing, edging, sweeping/blowing, pruning, hedge/tree trimming, weed control and Astro turf maintenance.Garden/playground refreshing woodchip mulch, sand pit maintenance, new plants, etc.External pressure washing of buildings as required.Removal of all garden waste and transfer to an authorized waste transfer station.Ensure all required job updates are provided.Follow an initiative-taking model for Groundskeeping maintenance and repairs.Qualifications and RequirementsPrevious experience in Grounds/Landscaping maintenance services.Valid driver''s license and experience driving with a trailer Mandatory.Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.Ability to multi-task; work reliably with limited supervision and make sound decisions quickly.Familiarity with interfacing with technology (iPhone) used to systemically monitor location/jobs.Be prepared to undergo a Police Check.The position requires completing a pre-employment medical.This position is outdoors and requires ability to work in any and all-weather conditions.Other RequirementsThe successful candidate may be required to complete a pre-employment medical; ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Be prepared to undergo a Police Check as part of pre-employment screening.Benefits & What We OfferCompetitive EBA remuneration package paid weekly.Self-managed flexible work arrangements within a friendly team.Work within Early Learning in our fast-growing partnership.Extensive employee value program, with discounts across thousands of retailers, purchasing leave program and recognition rewards program.Fully maintained Work Vehicle with fuel card and all tools of trade supplied.Additional InformationCity is an Equal Opportunity Employer who supports and encourages the diverse needs of each individual team member.
