This handson and technical role coordinates the efficient operation, monitoring and development of irrigation and recycled water systems across the City of Adelaide, ensuring they''re well maintained, watersmart, and fit for purpose.Working closely with horticulture teams, designers, project managers and industry partners, the Irrigation Technical Officer designs and implements irrigation systems that enhance water efficiency, plant health and environmental outcomes. The role supports upgrades and new projects that align with Council''s strategic goals and sustainability commitments, while identifying opportunities to innovate and introduce new technologies and methodologies.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with practical, ontheground problem solving.
