Civmec has been awarded the major civil works package for PDP2 at BHP''s Nelson Point, including delivery of a new Car Dumper 6 (CD6) and associated civil/structural works - vault, tunnel, positioner slabs, substation, dust scrubber, and conveyor interfaces.The RoleTo be successful in the role, you will possess the following:Operation of crane used in heavy lifting and transportCompetency in the safe setup of slings, cables, straps, and the crane prior to lifting operationsAbility to perform preventative maintenance as required to ensure safe and continual service of craneStrong understanding of lifts and load limits of equipment to ensure all lifts are correctly riggedCompetence in correct lock-out and tag proceduresProven capability to operate crane equipment to hoist materials and equipment in a safe and efficient mannerAbout YouTo be successful in the role you will possess the following:Current High Risk Work Licence, C0, DG (Slewing or Non-slewing licence and VOC (VOC within 2 Yeras preferred)A current Driver''s Licence (HR mandatory)White Card (Construction Safety Awareness)Working at Heights (wintin 2 years of issue)Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a ''Never Assume'' culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
