We are currently seeking operators with experience in an 80T Crane and a 25T Franna.This is your chance to contribute to a major industrial upgrade and work alongside a skilled, high-performing team.The RoleReporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:Responsible for operation of crane used in heavy lifting and transportResponsible for personal safety and safety of coworkersShows commitment to safety culture through personal behaviour and willingness to influence othersResponsible for slings, cables, straps, and the crane prior to lifting operationsPerform preventative maintenance as required to ensure safe and continual service of craneRemains in continual voice (radio), hand, and or communication with rigger while operating the craneAssures that all lifts are within load limits of equipment and correctly riggedAssures that lifting gear is inspected prior to useFollows correct lockout and tag proceduresOperates crane equipment to hoist materials and equipment in a safe and efficient mannerAbout YouTo be successful in the role you will possess the following:Hold a current High Risk Licence for CN and C6 licence and VOCHave a minimum of 2 years'' experience within construction industryProduce Proof of Right to work in AustraliaCurrent Working Safely at Heights CertificateCurrent High risk elevating work platform licence and VOCCurrent Drivers LicenceNationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)Ability to complete and pass a preemployment medical and drug & alcohol screen.At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a ''Never Assume'' culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
