Civmec has been awarded the major civil works package for PDP2 at BHP''s Nelson Point, including delivery of a new Car Dumper 6 (CD6) and associated civil/structural works vault, tunnel, positioner slabs, substation, dust scrubber, and conveyor interfaces.The RoleReporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:Assist with lift plans and lifting operationsAlign level and securing machineryInspecting, maintain and tagging rigging equipmentEnsure rigging gear is stored correctlySupporting crane setup, including barricading, exclusion zones and signage in line with site requirementsAttach correctly rated rigging equipment to structures to move loads using chain blocks, pulleys, tirfors and lever hoistsKeep tools and equipment clean, safe and stored appropriately general duties as requiredAbout YouTo be successful in the role you will possess the following:Current High Risk Work Licence, RA/RI, WP and VOC (VOC within 2 Years preferred)White Card (Construction Safety Awareness)Working at Heights (Within 2 years of completion)Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a ''Never Assume'' culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
