We currently have the capacity to provide a home to 19,000 students (and are growing) and we don''t simply provide a bed and roof; we also provide a unique, amazing experience and a safe environment to help students make the most of their studies.THE ROLEReporting to the Wellness & Hygiene Manager, this role is key to maintaining the daytoday presentation and overall aesthetic of our beautiful Scape assets in Brisbane. You''ll ensure our spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.Housekeeper duties include:Daily cleaning of public areas in common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym and laundryRoom cleaning for resident requests as requiredBeing fully aware with health and safety obligationsRoom Attendant duties include:Monthly cleaning of common spaces in resident''s apartmentsBeing fully aware with health and safety obligationsPlease note: Shifts will generally be across Mon Fri starting between 6am and 7am, with some occasional weekend work as required.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEWe are seeking enthusiastic self-starters with the following skills and experience:High attention to detailAbility to prioritise and multitaskCan work in team or individual settingAbility to work with and relate to young adults while also maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity and boundaries1-2 years'' experience as a public area cleaner in a large commercial environment or room attendant in a 4 5 star hotel environmentPlease note: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a National Police Check and a Working with Children checkPERKS & BENEFITSAt Scape, we are all about creating and sharing the good vibes.
