Your day to day tasks will include general warehouse duties, moving full/empty waste bins around site, assisting with loading/unloading trucks and learning how to operate the incinerator with further opportunities to become a full time incinerator operator in the future.About youTo be successful in this role, you will have the following:Availability for night shift commencing at 10PM or 6AM in LavertonOpen to completing some overtime when required (must be available weekends)Forklift licence (desirable)The ability to work as part of a team, but also independentlyPhysically fit and be adept in handling waste from medical facilitiesGreat communication skills with good attention to detailWillingness to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testWillingness to undertake a National Police Criminal History CheckWe are seeking someone who can display a superior commitment to safety and who will represent the Cleanaway Daniels brand with pride. This role is an opportunity for the suitable candidate to be upskilled and cross trained within the business.Due to the nature of this work, evidence of currency of vaccination or the willingness to receive defined vaccinations is essential.
