Join Australia''s leader in sustainable, total waste management solutions.$44.06 per hour+ super + potential over timeEarly Morning starts 3.30/4.30am startsFull time, permanent role based in GlendenningThe OpportunityBased at our Glendenning branch, we are seeking an experienced, mature-minded leader to step into the role of Drivers Leading Hand. This position requires a suitably qualified and experienced HR Driver, ideally with a background in waste management or a similar service-based industry.The successful candidate will have proven experience in scheduling and work allocation, demonstrate strong leadership capability, and be confident in having crucial conversations with staff when required.As a Driver - Leading Hand, you will be responsible for:Leading and supporting a team of drivers, along with supporting our Operations SupervisorSetting rosters and coordinating driver runsOperating waste collection vehicles such as rear and side liftEnsuring all prestart checks are carried out and drivers depart depot on scheduleAssist with training new drivers and supporting ongoing team developmentCompleting all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and requiredAbout YouHeavy Rigid (HR) Licence as a minimumExperience in the waste, transport or logistics industryStrong leadership and communication skillsSolid understanding of safety and compliance proceduresBasic computer and mobile technology skillsWilling to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testAbout UsJoinus at Cleanaway and contribute to making a sustainable future possible, together.We transform waste into resources and renewable energy.
