As the Associate Professor of Nursing and Midwifery, you will provide strategic leadership in teaching, research, and curriculum development within the College of Sport, Health and Engineering. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing and midwifery education at VU, contributing to the growth of research capacity and mentoring academic staff.This role is offered as a fulltime continuing role at an Academic C $138,695 $159,922 or Academic D $166,999 $183,978 (depending on experience), plus 17% superannuation working 36.75 hours per week.Key ResponsibilitiesLead curriculum innovation and unit design across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.Provide research leadership aligned with VU''s Research and Impact Plan 20232028.Supervise Higher Degree Research students and sessional staff.Act as Course Chair or Deputy Head of Program when required.Foster strong partnerships with clinical, industry, and government stakeholders.About YouYou are a passionate educator and researcher with a commitment to advancing nursing and midwifery practice. You bring a strong academic track record, leadership experience, and a collaborative spirit.
