ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.Due to anticipated growth on our Heathgate Beverley Village in South Australia, we have exciting opportunities for trade qualified chefs.14 days on 7 days off - 11 hours per dayFull Time salary $97,155Accommodation/ meals Provided whilst at workFlights provided from AdelaideThe Position:Bulk cooking experience & Cert 111 Commercial Cookery requiredPrepare buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast and Crib lunch, or Dinner and DessertsYou will work within a team of Chefs, kitchen utilities & dining room employees to deliver exceptional quality and service to the village residentsAdhere to safe work practices and safe food handling proceduresEnsure all catering controls are in place & wastage is kept to the minimumOffer guidance and supportto the kitchen team where needed, to ensure a great experience for all customersEnhance workplace culture display high levels of customer service, contribute ideas and be flexible to meet the needs of the businessThe Person:Strong team player with the ability to multitask in a high-paced environmentTrade certified chef holding a minimum Cert 111 Commercial CookeryExperience within bulk catering/ cooking environmentsExcellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures & operationsMust have a National Police Clearancewithin the last 12 monthMust provide valid Passport or Birth Certificate + Photo IDAble to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screeningThe Benefits:You will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
