This role is responsible for producing high-quality 3D models and 2D documentation using BIM software to support the design and delivery of innovative electrical and infrastructure solutions.Reporting to the BIM Manager, you will collaborate closely with our Design team to ensure alignment with global standards, best practices, and project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain accurate BIM models and detailed drawings for electrical and infrastructure projectsCollaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to accurately capture design intentCoordinate BIM models across disciplines and ensure compliance with project requirementsImplement and maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflowsCreate and manage Revit families and documentation for Bills of Materials (BOM)Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiencyParticipate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in client-facing BIM coordination meetingsSkills & QualificationsMinimum 45 years'' experience (datacentre industry experience highly regarded)Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCADStrong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of construction and manufacturing processes (including sheet metal and laser cutting)Familiarity with BIM360 and Microsoft OfficeExperience with Dynamo and Python scripting highly regardedNV1 security clearance or the ability to obtainPlease note: Australian citizenship is a mandatory requirement, as the successful candidate will be required to obtain NV1 security clearance.Seniority LevelNot ApplicableEmployment TypeFull-timeJob Function & IndustriesDesignConstruction and ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Computer Room Solutions (CRS) by 2xGet notified about new BIM Modeler jobs in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia#J-18808-Ljbffr
