OverviewConverge International is seeking Psychologists, Social Workers and Counsellors in SA (Adelaide) to provide Trauma/Critical Incidents response services. The role delivers Critical Incident Response Services, including emergency response, critical incident support, planned support services, disaster response and incident forums, using Psychological First Aid (PFA), stepped care and referral pathways to support Converge International''s clients. The role may also include Employee Counselling and Training and Consulting Services.About the RoleThe purpose of this role is to provide Critical Incident Response Services during incidents or organizational change, and to inform client organisations of themes, recommendations, and opportunities for internal process improvements. You may also deliver Employee Counselling and Training and Consulting Services as part of client engagements. You will support individuals and their organisations through one-on-one trauma support and group sessions, using PFA and trauma-specific interventions.Responsibilities Provide psychosocial interventions, support and counselling. Apply trauma management expertise and/or consultancy services (minimum 3 years; 3-5 years desirable). Assess workplace issues, identify intervention programs and provide solution-focused advice to achieve outcomes. Work flexibly in a fast-paced environment; manage time effectively; produce clear reports. Deliver People Assist services (EAP, RRS) where applicable. Demonstrate negotiation and facilitation skills; collaborate with stakeholders.Qualifications & Requirements 3-5 years of relevant experience as a psychologist or social worker is desirable; training in Psychological First Aid. Tertiary qualification in Behavioural Sciences and registration with the appropriate professional body. Current driver''s license and own vehicle.About You Experience in providing psychosocial interventions, support and counselling. Passion to help people and ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management, report writing skills and a can-do attitude.
