Lecturer / Clinical Academic - Medical SonographyJoin our dynamic School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences as either a Lecturer or Clinical Academic in Medical Sonography and help shape the future of the discipline while supporting student success.As a Clinical Academic, you will coordinate and monitor clinical learning experiences for students in the Bachelor of Medical Sonography/Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography, foster industry partnerships, and support student success during their clinical placements. You will facilitate effective learning in practice-based courses, contribute to the overall quality of clinical education through scholarly activities, research and involvement in professional initiatives.As a Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching in the Bachelor of Medical Sonography/Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography, supervise students, and contribute to curriculum development, research and industry engagement. You will collaborate with a team of passionate academics to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in the profession.This is your opportunity to inspire the next generation of sonographers, contribute to research and professional practice, and collaborate with industry and community partners within a supportive and innovative academic environment.Position RequirementsRelevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent in Medical Sonography.Current registration or eligibility to obtain registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).Prior clinical and/or academic teaching experience in Medical Sonography.Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, including experience engaging with tertiary students and educational providers.Possession of a teaching qualification, or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.Compensation and BenefitsFullTime Total Remuneration $134,885 to $157,870 per annum (including salary $113,980 to $133,403 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)*20% market loading allowance based on annual cash salary.17% superannuation (choice to join an awardwinning superfund).6 weeks annual leave (incl.
