You''ll be responsible for ensuring that the shifts across the Front Office department run smoothly, efficiently and continue to provide an outstanding guest service. This role is integral to the leadership of the front office team, and is charged with leading and motivating a passionate crew of Guest Service Agents to create exceptional guest experiences.The Duty Manager position is varied and encompasses the check-in and check-out process, accurate administration and complaint business management. You will promote the Hotel effectivelyand communicate efficiently across a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities:Lead daily guest service operations from check-in to check-out, ensuring friendly, personalised service that elevated the guest experienceSupport, mentor and develop the Front Office teamOversee front office financial accuracy including cashier audits, guest folio monitoring, reconciliations and moreFacilitate strong communication and collaboration across all hotel departments by ensuring accurate information flow, effective shift handovers and seamless operational coordinationEnsuring hotel safety, security and policy complianceSkills and experience:To be successful in this position, we are seeking individuals who naturally demonstrate:A genuine ambition for hotel collaboration with strong leadership acumen and experience in driving service standardsRecent and demonstrable Hotel Front Office Management experience from high end establishmentsStrong IT skills - preferably with experience using Opera CloudRelevant long term and permanent working rights in AustraliaA high standard of customer standards and delivery of serviceA tertiary qualification in Hospitality and/or Hotel ManagementA natural energy with an ambitious driven for excellenceA people centric collaborator with a creative spirit and a respectful and engaging approach to developing and maintaining effective working relationshipsPlease note that we are seeking candidates who are eligible to work in Australia, unfortunately, we will not be providing sponsorship at this time.
