Location: Brisbane (Inner North)Employment Type: Permanent, Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe''re looking for a Registered Nurse to join our friendly and wellestablished surgical specialist practice (sub speciality in cancer surgery) on a permanent fulltime basis. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys variety, working closely with patients, and being part of a supportive, closeknit team. As one of two practice nurses, you will work closely with the surgeon, practice manager, and administrative team to deliver highquality care to patients across their surgical journey.What You''ll Be DoingComprehensive wound care and wound managementProviding preoperative and postoperative patient careProviding clinical support for 2x specialist surgeonsAssisting the specialist during minor procedures in roomsMaintaining infection control and sterilisation standardsStocktaking and maintenance of our minor procedure facilities (2x procedural rooms)Managing patient enquiriesProviding patient education, support and reassuranceManaging clinical documentation and patient recordsOccasional medical reception dutiesWhat We''re Looking ForCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered NursePrevious experience in surgical or practice nursingAbility to run a woundcare clinic onsite independently (doctor support available remotely)Experience in a surgical or specialist setting is ideal, but not essentialGreat communication skills and a warm, patientfocused approachExcellent attention to detailGood organisational skills, with ability to prioritise tasksAbility to work under pressure with high patient turnoverIndividuals who can work well both independently as part of a smallknit teamSome flexibility in hours (early starts and late finishes depending on demand)Availability to work on Saturdays occasionallyWhat We OfferPermanent fulltime roleSupportive and welcoming work environmentCompetitive salary based on experienceConsistent weekday hours (no shift work) with monthly rostering and free onsite parkingThe chance to work closely with a respected and experienced surgical specialist and teamTeam building activities and provision of educational opportunitiesFree parking on siteSpacious and wellequipped facilitiesApplicationAll applications will be considered with strict confidentiality.
