OverviewAlpha Flight Services Pty Ltd (trading as dnata catering & retail) is looking for several Truck Drivers to work in Perth, Western Australia.Job detailsJob Title: Truck DriverHours: Full TimeSalary: guaranteed annual earnings of $76,515 - $80,000 plus superannuationCompany: dnata catering & retailLocation: Perth Western AustraliaResponsibilitiesOperating a medium rigid MR vehicleResponsible for loading and unloading of galley equipment onto a truck; driving the truck to various types of aircraft, and loading the equipmentLiaise with customers and hand over deliveryPreparation and packing of catering equipmentPerform driving duties (short distance)Responsible for marshalling other Drivers on the tarmac to position the truck in line with company, airport and/or airline policiesPerform basic serviceability and daily maintenance checks of vehicles and equipment, including the refuelling of vehiclesPerform administrative duties (reporting) and compile reports and documentsReport all vehicle/plant defects as per Company proceduresAssemble, pack and check off completed flight at kitchen production unit and on board the aircraftFollow up any discrepancies and ensure flight is correctGeneral cleaning duties of aircraft galleys, vehicles and cabin service areasPlay a buddy role to welcome new Workers by providing advice and guidance on the day-to-day aspects of working at the CompanyPerform such tasks in accordance with Company specifications, to comply with hygiene, quality, safety, performance and customer service standardsEnsure adherence to Galley Loading Plan (GLP), Cart Packing Plan (CPP) and Equipment Loading Plan (ELP) as applicable to the roleAdhere to the Company''s policy in relation to HALAL, HACCP, QSAI / Food Safety, Workplace Health and Safety, Quarantine and Customs as applicable to the roleWork in other areas of the unit for part or whole of shift basis to meet operational demandsSkills and AttributesAt least 1 year of experience as a truck driverMR/ HR license is a mustAbility to communicate in a professional and courteous mannerAbility to work without direct supervisionAbility to manage own time effectivelyAbility to work as instructed following both verbal and written work instructionsLocationPerth Western AustraliaAbout UsWe are Australia''s largest and most admired inflight catering and retail partner.
