Food Safety & HSE Coordinator dnataRole OverviewThis dynamic role combines Food Safety & Compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) monitoring for the Darwin Airport catering facility. You will audit, report and train both functions to maintain the highest operational standards.ResponsibilitiesConduct scheduled and ad hoc internal Food Safety, HACCP and supplier audits.Record audit findings and collaborate with the Unit Manager and GM QA to resolve noncompliance.Provide specialist HACCP and Halal guidance to stakeholders.Investigate customer complaints, food poisoning allegations and supplier nonconformances.Maintain knowledge of State and Federal Food Safety legislations and coordinate microbiological testing.Lead a ''Safety First'' culture, promote visible signage, and deliver safety improvement plans.Assist in safety and environmental hazard identification, reporting and incident investigation.Oversee health safety and environmental performance and support external auditor engagements.Prepare monthly HSE reports and support firstaid and incident reporting.QualificationsFormal qualifications in Microbiology, Food Safety & Tech or HS&E.Demonstrated experience in a similar dualfunction role is highly desirable.Experience in a fastpaced, large commercial or factory setting.Strong teamwork and solo work capabilities.Understanding of NT HSE legislation, workers'' compensation, and food health guidelines.Competency in documentation and records management using Microsoft Office.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Clear National Police Check required (aviation industry).BenefitsCompetitive salary.MonFri schedule no weekends.5 weeks annual leave.Free onsite parking, daily staff meals and uniforms.Career development and progression opportunities.Discounts at hundreds of retailers and wellbeing resources.Join UsIf you meet the above qualifications, we invite you to upload your resume and begin your journey with dnata catering & retail.#J-18808-Ljbffr
